The First Step To Be
A Freediver
This is the first step of your freediving journey. You will learn:
– The Foundation of Freediving Physiology & Psychology.
– The Freediving Gears & Equipment.
– The Basic Freediving Disciplines & Techniques.
– The Equalization Techniques.
– The Safety Foundation & Procedures.
This course will be the most important brick you need to pave your way into the amazing underwater world.

This course consists of 4 sessions:
1st Session:
– Theory session
2nd Session:
– Pool Training to focus on freedive techniques
3rd Session:
– Deep Pool Training At Tribuana Dive Center (For Indonesian Citizen Only)
– Written Exam
4th Session:
– Practical Exam At Tribuana Dive Center (For Indonesian Citizen Only)
AIDA 2 Freediving Course Exam Requirements
To complete the AIDA 2 freediving course you will have to successfully perform:
– 2 minutes breath-hold
– Swim 40 m underwater with fins
– Dive deep (CWT) to 12 – 16m
We understand that it seems challenging for a beginner, but you will learn all the disciplines & techniques which will help you achieve the requirements.
AIDA 2 (Beginner) Freediving Course
Pool Exam:
– For all students, pool exam will be held in Senayan/Bulungan/Simprug pool, Jakarta
Depth Exam:
– For locals, depth exam will be held in Tribuana Dive Center, Cijantung, Jakarta
– For all foreigners, depth exam will be held on Open Water* session at Thousand Island, Jakarta on weekend (stay 2D1N) based on our regular schedule.
*Open Water is held for depth training purposes. The session is open for all students (certified or in-progress).
Include:
– Basic gears (fins, mask); provided during course session
– Entry tickets for 3rd & 4th sessions in Tribuana Dive Center
– AIDA certificate
– First aid kit
Exclude:
– Entry ticket for regular swimming pool (2nd session)
– Entry ticket for Tribuana Dive Center pool (after 4th/last session)
– Insurance
– Personal expenses
– Personal medicines
Important Note:
– The maximum course duration is only 1 year from the date of the first session. If it exceeds 1 year, all course sessions will no longer be valid, and any fees paid will be considered forfeited. The course must then be restarted from the beginning at the current & updated price.
