Begin Your Freediving Journey

The first & most important step is to educate yourself about freediving through a certified freediving course.

It is important to learn the basics of the sport and understand the risks associated with it.

A certified freediving course, such as AIDA 2 Freediving Course, is the necessary step you can take to build your foundation knowledge of freediving.

Understanding the rules, principles, and safety protocol are essential to having a safe, enjoyable, and responsible freediving experience.

Next, get to know the basic freediving gears.

Beginners often think that the gears between freediving, snorkeling, and scuba diving are all the same.

But, Freediving requires specialized equipment that different than other water sports.

For example, freediving requires Low Volume Mask which is totally different from Scuba or Snorkelling masks.

We always suggest to our new students to don’t buy any diving gear before attending the first session class.

This is to ensure our students get the right and proper gear.

We will talk more about the gears in the course and other articles.

Finally, you should practice your self getting comfortable underwater in a pool.

You don’t have to have great swimming skills, but at least, you are comfortable enough moving and staying underwater.

This will help you build up your confidence in learning freediving and getting exposed to a real underwater environment.

With practice, patience and consistency, you’ll be ready to explore the depths of the ocean!

Let’s learn more about this in our freediving course!

See you at the training session!
